Joanne Burney: Speech Pathologist

Chloe Kent: Allied Health Assistant

Joanne Burney: Speech Pathologist

Joanne lives on the Gold Coast and is a passionate, motivated, enthusiastic and caring Speech Pathologist. She completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology Degree at Southern Cross University.

Joanne's passion for Speech Pathology originated from her own experience as the mother of a non-verbal child with Autism (ASD Level 3). She and her son experienced first-hand the benefits of attending Speech Pathology from an early age. Consequently, this experience  motivates Joanne to help other families that have children experiencing communication challenges.

Joanne enjoys working with children of all ages and can deliver speech, language, voice, fluency, swallowing and AAC assessment and intervention support.

Chloe Kent: Allied Health Assistant

Chloe has always found joy in working with children and adolescents. From an early age, she knew she wanted to make a difference in young lives, and her passion for early childhood education led her to earn both a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and a Diploma of Child, Youth, and Family Intervention. Working alongside dedicated professionals who support children with diverse needs further strengthened her enthusiasm for early development and intervention.

As an experienced Lead Educator in Early Education, Chloe has seen firsthand how early intervention and speech pathology can make a world of difference. She has witnessed how these approaches help children achieve their full potential in communication and social development, empowering them to grow into confident and successful individuals.

Chloe’s deep interest in speech pathology has guided her to her current role as an Allied Health Assistant at Time2Talk Allied Health, where she has the pleasure of working with the wonderful Joanne and Leah. Chloe is excited to continue making a positive impact and supporting children on their journey to success.
