Mobile Speech Pathology Service - QLD
Time2Talk Allied Health is committed to ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients, staff, and the wider community.
Time2Talk Allied Health is classed as an essential service by the Australian government and will continue to trade as normal.
We do however understand that families may be self-isolating during this time or may prefer to stay home if their child or other family members are vulnerable or at risk of contracting the virus.
During COVID-19 we ask:
· Do not attend the clinic if you or your child have cold or flu like symptoms.
· If you or your child has been in contact or is at risk of being in contact with a COVID-19 positive person, advise your therapist immediately.
· If you are diagnosed with COVID-19, you must immediately isolate for 7 days.
· Telehealth appointments are an ideal alternative during this time.
Therapist precautions:
· Therapists will clean their hands with an alcohol-based hand rub before entering the client’s home and immediately after leaving.
· Therapists will clean their hands immediately before and after any direct contact with the client.
· Therapists will maintain at least a 1.5 metre distance between themselves, the client and other household members.
· Therapists will wear a face mask for home visits when physical distancing is not possible.
· Therapists will clean all toys and resources used during therapy after each appointment.
Telehealth Appointments:
Telehealth appointments allows Time2Talk Allied Health to deliver therapy online. Please speak to your Speech Pathologist to arrange these appointments.
